The aims of the European Research Centre for Book and Paper Conservation-Restoration are

to initiate, execute and support research in the field of book and paper conservation-restoration,
to provide tools for research and practical conservation in the field of book and paper conservation-restoration,
to communicate and disseminate research results to those who can apply them to the heritage.
